The International Labour Organization (ILO) has been implementing a project titled "Free Movement of Persons and Transhumance in the IGAD Region: Improving Opportunities for Regular Labour Mobility. The project is being implemented in collaboration with IGAD and its Member States with the financial support of the European Union. The overall objective of the project is to facilitate free movement of persons and improve regular labour migration and mobility in the IGAD region in order to enhance regional integration and development under the auspicious of this overall objective, among other things, the project has been providing technical and financial support to IGAD Secretariat and Member States to in developing / or revising national labour migration policies."
